Grammar in Transcription - Words that Spell Trouble (E, F)

emerge - to rise out or
immerge - to plunge into

emigrate - to go away from a country
immigrate - to come into a country

eminent - well-known, prominent
imminent - about to happen

ensure - to make certain
insure - to protect against loss

envelop - to cover or wrap (verb)
envelope - a wrapper for a letter (noun)

enervated - to be weakened
innervated - to be stimulated by a nerve supply

every day - each day (I will see her every day)
everyday - ordinary (He wore his everyday shoes)

every one - (Every one of the parrots died)
everyone - all persons (Everyone was sad)

farther - to be at a more distant place or time (Florida is farther away than Oregon)
further - additional (Further tests are necessary)

fewer - refers to number and is used with plural nouns
less - refers to amount or degree and is used with singular nouns

flair - aptitude (She has a flair for drawing)
flare - a gradual increase (in medical use - She had a flare of her arthritis)

formerly - before
formally - in a formal manner

forego - to go before
forgo - to let pass, relinquish, abstain

forth - away, forward
fourth - the one after third
